Siesta Key

The most well-known of Sarasota’s barrier Islands, Siesta Key gained recognition for being home to Siesta Key Beach, named the country’s best beach multiple times, notable for its soft sugar-like sand and gorgeous waters. Though it has a touristy vibe, Siesta Village, offering a few blocks of restaurants, bars, and shopping, is beloved by residents. Outdoor activities are also popular in Siesta Key, with opportunities for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and more. There are several parks on the island, including Turtle Beach Park, which is popular for its fishing pier and nature trails. The Siesta Key real estate market is characterized by high demand for both single-family homes and condominiums, particularly those located close to the beach or with waterfront views. Siesta Key has a mix of architecture including tall waterfront condominium buildings, bohemian bungalows, mid-century modern villas, and new construction mansions, all available at a range of price points, however prices for these types of properties can be quite high, reflecting the area’s desirability and its reputation as a high-end vacation destination.
